POSITION SUMMARY

Talent Acquisition, Sourcing, Recruiting, Onboarding, Retention and other Generalist activities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruiting 

  •  Candidate Sourcing:
    • Gain a solid understanding of TCB’s products and services to source, recruit and hire high caliber candidates.
    • Working with the hiring managers, develop and execute proactive sourcing plans to build a diverse talent pool through utilization of direct sourcing, standard recruiting sites, agencies, mining databases and search engines, and using social media tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
    • Prepare and update job descriptions.
    • Develop and manage internal job posting program to enable rapid identification of internal candidates.
    • Integrate TCB's brand strategy into all recruitment activity at all levels
  • Screening: Contact candidates to verify qualifications are met; develop pre-screening qualifiers based on position requirements.
  • Evaluating:
    • Work with hiring managers to clarify assessment criteria
    • Train hiring managers on behavior-based interview questions and other assessment tools.
    • Coordinate and schedule on-site interview activities for candidates.
  • On-Boarding Process
    • Prepare offer letters
    • Contact references
    • Initiate background checks
    • Collect new hire paperwork and complete tasks within the New Hire Checklist
    • Add new hires into various payroll/benefit systems (ADP, etc...)
  • Metrics and Recordkeeping:
    • Maintain current global talent listing, vacancy logs, HR metrics – new hires, monitor Glassdoor, etc.
    • Develop and execute recordkeeping systems to include applicant tracking, internal job postings and EEO
    • Understand and administer hiring and visa regulations for global hiring

Onboarding

  • Ensure buddy is assigned and program is effectively implemented with training.
  • Continuously improve paper and electronic processes to enable rapid assimilation of hires.
  • Continuously improve new employee orientation
    • Working with our studio to develop multimedia resources
    • Coordinating employee volunteers globally to introduce all of TCB to our newest employees, with a particular focus on our values and strategy.

Retention

  • Conduct employee and manager check-ins: 1, 3 and 6 months.
  • Mentoring program: work with HR Director to design, implement and monitor effectiveness.

Other Generalist activities

  • Benefits, Policy Compliance, Training, Performance Management, Mentoring Program, etc.

 

Knowledge and Skills                       

  • Ideally at least 3 – 5 years of sourcing experience
  • Prefer experience with recruiting for a global organization
  • Experience recruiting using social media tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
  • Knowledge of employment law EEO/AAP, FMLA, ADA , etc. and previous experience applying employment laws in the workplace
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to support and coach employees through HR processes, comfortable dealing  with managers and senior leaders
  • Strong technical skills including MS Office especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills – ability to deliver presentations
  • Positive, can-do attitude, mature-minded.
  • Highly independent, strong work ethic personality.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and follow-up
