The Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter will report to the Associate Director, Human Resources and partner with employees and managers to ensure that the employee experience is best in class. Champion and execute various initiatives including recruitment, on-boarding, career development, coaching, compliance, and metrics.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and onboarding
- Manages TCB's recruitment program by partnering with hiring managers to provide best in class strategies to attract, retain, grow and motivate top talent that embodies TCB culture and values.
- Assists with job analysis, role description development, and compensation benchmarking.
- Ensure orientation and other on-boarding activities for new staff are effective.
- Design and implement effective employee development and retention programs including employee/manager check-ins during initial six months of employment.
Performance Management, Staff Development and Employee Relations
- Manages the review process mid-year and annually, calibration meetings, develop timelines for talent reviews, and promotion discussions.
- Liaise with counsel on PIPs, documenting performance issues, separations.
- Partner with CHRO to develop a robust employee enrichment curriculum for staff development.
- Counsel employees/managers to settle work-related conflicts.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5-10 years Human Resources experience, 5+ years Recruiting experience.
- Strong HR technical knowledge, including working knowledge of employment law, wage & hour laws and regulations, and EEO laws.
- Demonstrate strong competence in key functional HR areas including talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, performance management, retention, learning and organizational effectiveness.
- Positive, can-do attitude, mature minded.
- High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, diplomacy in interactions at all levels.
- Impeccable attention to detail, follow-through, and the ability to anticipate needs proactively.
- Conflict resolution skills, adept at dealing w/ complex issues, and experience-honed judgment.
