  • Lead and manage the Marketing Services team that's responsible for digital media, digital marketing, editorial/publishing, and project management.
  • As the Director, you will develop the strategic plan and lead your team in the execution of the following core areas: 
    • Digital Media: Responsible for all video and audio initiatives including webcasts, podcasts, promotional and training videos, and virtual events that answer center needs and respond to timely events with relevant programming.
    • Digital Marketing: Responsible for website, digital and email marketing activities, internal and organic search (SEO), database marketing, and member experience including communities.
    • Editorial/Publishing: Responsible for the content development from our research from inception to publication including editing, production and design, data visualization, and graphics in support of the editorial and marketing efforts.
    • Project Management: Responsible for project management, special project leadership, and coordination with international marketers. 
  • Ensure all team members receive appropriate training for their roles with continued monitoring of performance and implementation of on-the-job training, where required.
  • Prepare and distribute analysis and benchmarks, use that analysis to adjust the marketing plan to achieve the goals, and then communicate that to both management and the team.
  • Ensure all marketing deadlines are met and that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Partner with the Marketing Team and key stakeholders to develop and deliver the strategic initiatives of The Conference Board.
  • Research industry trends and stay current on marketing-related best practices.
  • Ensure adherence to brand messaging and style standards for all marketing assets.
  • Deliver other marketing services, as assigned/requested.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • 5-7 years of successful experience in Marketing Services management. Marketing Operations management or similar role; preferably in a B2B environment
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, good project and people management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and projects and deliver on time and budget
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, teamwork, presentation, time management, and project management skills
  • The ability to adapt to change quickly and to tackle unfamiliar tasks and requests with a positive attitude and resourcefulness
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or relevant field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required
