Position Summary:
The Manager, Executive Programs, Councils is responsible for relationship management and membership retention ensuring that all council members who engage with any of TCB's products and services have a world-class experience. The manager will collaborate closely with multiple departments within the organization to represent the council and council member point of view. This person will be a true advocate for our members in solving their business issues and providing necessary input to enhance and keep relevant our products and services. The manager will be an instrumental part of the council team in helping to drive higher usage of our products and services and increasing the retention rate of the council membership base.
Responsibilities:
Deliver Value to Members:
- Along with the Council Director serve as the trusted point of contact for a portfolio of council members and councils.
- Attend all council meetings and virtual sessions.
- Proactively engage each member to ensure that TCB products and services are being leveraged to maximize the value of each council seat and to meet the Council Member’s ROI.
- Create a sense of community within each council, connecting members to each other and to the wider network. Maintain council web pages.
- Facilitate cross-council outreach and benchmarking.
- Identify key areas of member interest/pain points and partner with Council Director to address those areas.
- Actively advocate for member interests in team meetings.
- Analyze evaluation data from council meetings, and proactively collaborate with stakeholders to improve the member experience.
- Ensure that initiatives and requests generating from an assigned council are acted upon, for example: special requests from council meetings such as book list, research, benchmarking survey etc.
- Report new member-facing issues/wants to the appropriate team at TCB.
- Council Agenda content: ensure flow, content and peer dialogue is in line with TCB agenda standard.
Retention:
- Onboard, engage and build a relationship with each member in your portfolio.
- Know and understand a need for each member in your portfolio.
- Achieve annual retention goal, satisfaction and attendance KPIs. Track and report KPIs.
- Keep key stakeholders informed of member activity.
Operations:
- Partner and collaborate with Council Director to ensure agenda preparation, on time communications and meeting highlights contain actionable insights (enhanced note-taking, and debriefing after each meeting).
- Coordinating with logistics manager to ensure meeting practicalities are consistent and within budget.
- Preparation of event with venue contact and preparation of materials.
- On-site execution of events.
- Ensure meeting evaluation feedback is addressed, and incorporated into future meeting planning.
- Regularly review and act in accordance with the at-risk member process.
- Coordinating with finance to ensure timely and accurate council membership renewals.
- Monthly financial reporting including meeting budget.
- Meet all internal and external deadlines.
- Serve on special project teams when needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 5-7 years business experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office
